Make your own pair of Magda pants in your size and your choice of material

• Some previous sewing experience is necessary, it isn’t suitable for complete beginners. I will be offering some more beginner suitable workshops in the future but some experience on a sewing machine is necessary here. If you are unsure as to whether this class would be suitable for you, please get in touch first, studio@bugclothing.co.uk

• This is an 8 hour workshop, from 9am - 5pm with a one hour break for lunch

• Workshop location will be at my studio in Ladywell, South London (5 minutes walk from Ladywell station, 30 minute walk from Brockley station, 14 minute walk from Lewisham station OR there is parking available nearby which I think is free on weekends)

• You will make your choice of fabric/materials prior to the workshop, I will be in touch to let you know which materials and colours are available beforehand. This is necessary because the material will need to be pre washed and tumbled

• Light refreshments such as tea and coffee and fruit will be provided. Bring your own lunch or you can visit Ladywell village to grab something which is only a short walk away

  
  

  Outline of the day

• 9-10am: taking your measurements, tracing the patterns onto the fabric and cutting these out

• 10-10.30am: preparing all of our tools and notions and setting up the machines

• 10.30am - 1pm: beginning to sew

• 1-2pm: lunch break

• 2-4.pm: sewing

• 4-5pm: button holes, sewing on buttons, final press and try on :)
